Neural networks really, truly learn. It's not a fancy trick. This is one of the most remarkable things humans have ever figured out, and the implications are difficult to overstate.

Ok which one of the ape NFT projects did this? 😂
Someone put a huge Harambe statue in front of the Wall Street bull today. Not sure what it means, but we know one thing: apes strong together. 📸 @APompliano

DAOs are a brand new territory for I/O psychologists to explore and learn from. Rarely do you see novel forms of the very thing you aim to study emerge decades after the field was established. Technology is reality altering.
DAOs are open source organizations. Fertile ground for experimentation with structure, governance, token models, and the future of work.

There’s nothing like building to learn. I’ve learned more about AI and software in the past few months of building with GPT-3 than I have in years of reading books and watching tutorials.

The Id.
Have you ever caught glimpses of some primal thing your body knew how to do, that you had no idea was built in there? An example: once I got stalked/chased down a long maze of deserted alleyways in Turkey. When I hit a dead end, he lunged at me. 1/

The natural world *can*—and *must*—be bent to accommodate humanity's needs and desires. It's how we survive and thrive.
"Musk, Bezos, and Gates believe the natural world can be bent to accommodate humanity’s existing behavior—and they are obsessed with doing the bending." – @emorwee nails it again. heated.world/p/the-climate-c…

A pass/fail system is also self-reinforcing. Want to finish faster? Work hard. Want to keep up with your friends? Don’t fall behind. Grading systems wind up discriminating some while privilege let’s others coast through youth without consequences. That is a societal failure.
